New Patients

Your journey to exceptional dental care begins with a thorough consultation with us at Malone Dental. This initial examination allows us to get to know you, understand your oral health history and discuss any concerns or goals you may have. During your visit, our experienced team will conduct a comprehensive assessment of your teeth, gums, and overall oral health, including an oral cancer screening and, if necessary, digital X-rays for a detailed evaluation. We’ll take the time to explain our findings clearly and provide personalised recommendations for your ongoing care. Whether it’s addressing existing dental issues or crafting a preventative care plan, we’re committed to helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile.

Routine Examinations

Routine dental examinations are the cornerstone of maintaining long-term oral health. At Malone Dental, we recommend regular check-ups to monitor your teeth and gums, spot potential problems early, and ensure your smile stays healthy. During each visit, we’ll perform a detailed inspection of your oral cavity, check for signs of decay, gum disease, or other issues, and provide expert guidance on maintaining proper oral hygiene at home. These visits are also an opportunity for us to address any questions or concerns you may have about your dental health. With our friendly and caring team, routine examinations are more than just maintenance—they’re an essential step in preserving the oral health of the whole family.

Dental Crown and Bridges

Dental Crowns and Bridges

Dental crowns and bridges offer reliable solutions to restore function and aesthetics if you have damaged, weakened, or missing teeth. A dental crown acts as a protective cap for a damaged tooth, enhancing its strength, appearance, and longevity, while a bridge fills the gap left by missing teeth, ensuring your smile remains complete and functional. At Malone Dental, we craft crowns and bridges from high-quality, natural-looking materials, designed to blend seamlessly with your existing teeth. Our team uses precision techniques to ensure a comfortable fit and lasting durability, giving you the confidence to eat, speak, and smile freely.

Root Canal Therapy

When a tooth is severely decayed or infected, root canal therapy is often the best solution to return the tooth to health. Also known as endodontic treatment, this is a specialised procedure to remove inflamed or infected tissue from the inner canals of a tooth. These narrow canals house the tooth’s “pulp”- the living parts of a tooth. During the procedure, the dentist comfortably and carefully cleans the affected canals, removes all decayed, inflamed, or infected tissue, returning the tooth to health. The canals are then sealed with an inert filling material to protect the tooth from further damage or infection. While many people feel apprehensive about root canals, our  experienced team uses modern techniques and a caring approach to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

Extractions

Extractions

Sometimes, despite our best efforts to save a tooth, an extraction is the best course of action to protect your overall oral health. Whether it’s due to extensive decay, infection, overcrowding, or the need to remove wisdom teeth, our skilled team ensures that tooth extractions are performed with care and precision. As always, we prioritise your comfort throughout the process, using advanced techniques and local anesthesia to minimise discomfort. For any treatment we provide, we start by understanding your unique dental needs. We will be with you at every step of the process to carry out the best treatment and after the extraction, we’ll provide clear aftercare instructions and discuss replacement options, such as dental implants or bridges, to restore your smile.

Fillings

One of the most common issues our teeth suffer is dental decay. Dental decay is when the hard parts of our teeth weaken and progress to forming a hole. This occurs when they are exposed to too much sugar and acid. Sadly, once the process begins it only continues and becomes more complicated with time.  Thankfully when cavities have not gotten “too big” we can comfortably fix them  with a strong, natural looking dental filling (e.g dental composite).

Dental Hygienist

Dental Hygienist

Maintaining excellent oral hygiene is key to preventing dental problems and keeping your smile healthy.  Our professional dental hygienists play a vital role in your oral care,  providing thorough cleanings that remove plaque, tartar, and stains from your teeth. Regular visits with our hygienist also include the best advice on brushing and flossing techniques, as well as personalised advice for managing your oral health at home. Whether you’re aiming to prevent gum disease or simply want your smile to look and feel its best, our hygienists are here to support you with expert care and attention.

Sport & Mouth Guards

If you’re active in sports or suffer from teeth grinding and clenching at night, protecting your teeth is essential. At Malone Dental, we create custom-fit mouth guards designed to provide superior comfort and protection. For athletes, our sports guards shield your teeth and jaw from impacts, reducing the risk of dental injuries. For those with bruxism (teeth grinding), night guards prevent damage to your teeth and alleviate symptoms like jaw pain or headaches. Made from durable, high-quality materials, our guards are tailored to fit perfectly, ensuring maximum effectiveness and comfort.
